Curry College will present the celebration of the arts

MILTON – Curry College will host a celebration of the arts with a student art and design exhibit; a performance by Jean Appolon Expressions, a Haitian contemporary dance company; a Curry Theater production of the musical “The Secret Garden”; and performances featuring Curry College’s dance and music programs. The Sister City Committee will hold a birthday party

SCITUATE – The Scituate Sister City committee will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its partnership with Sucy-en-Brie, France, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, at the Scituate Performing Arts Center, 606 Chief Justice Cushing Highway. Chef Rob hosts an online cooking class

QUINCY — The Thomas Crane Public Library will host a brunch cooking class with Chef Rob via Zoom from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 30. Chef Rob will cook French toast stuffed with mascarpone strawberries and blueberry scones with a drizzle of sweet orange. Jazz musicians will perform at Marshfield Library

Photo exhibition opens in Plymouth on Sunday

PLYMOUTH – The Plymouth Center for the Arts’ 12th Annual Juried Photography Exhibition and Competition, ‘The Fine Art of Photography’, will hold an opening reception from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, May 1 at 11 North St. Free . Choral Art Society will give a concert in Hingham

HINGHAM – The South Shore Choral Arts Society will perform a performance titled “What a Wonderful World! Songs of Earth, Sea, and Sky” at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 1 at the House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 916 Main St. Tickets are $20 and free for ages 18 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the door or at choralartsociety.org.
