Award-winning artist John Legend to take over the Met in Philly – Delco Times
PHILADELPHIA – After a year away and having to take pandemic leave, multi-platinum, 12-time Grammy Award winner
John Legend is back on stage and performing his Bigger Love Tour at the Met Philadelphia on October 13.
“I can’t wait to see you again after all of this time we’ve been apart,” Legend said. “It’s a celebration of love, joy, sensuality, hope and resilience, and I can’t wait for all of us to be exhilarated again with live music.”
The Bigger Love Tour will also feature a beautiful, intimate LVE Rosé garden party before each show where the lucky ones who purchase the special VIP package will have the chance to meet John and have a drink with the singer.
The Bigger Love album is a John Legend classic: Soulful, happy, loving, hopeful and tender. Gaining rave reviews, Pitchfork says of the album that it “… is bursting with positive energy” and Rolling Stone called the LP “…[an]stylish bear hug on piano.
Originally scheduled for 2020 but postponed due to the pandemic, the Bigger Love Tour has been redesigned for this fall with the importance of ongoing safety precautions and local guidelines in mind.
