US Senators from Michigan Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters said legislation passed this week would address climate change, cut some prescription drug costs, reduce inflation and create jobs. Peters says Michigan residents may soon feel the effects of this legislation. “It will save Michiganders money immediately, in the next few months. This is an important development to reduce costs for people across our state. The US Senate passed the Inflation Reduction Act on Sunday. The US House is expected to approve it later this week.
