Good Intent signs management agreement with 90ivy and launches artist initiative Greater Good

Sydney music services company Good Intent announced the signing of 90ivy and launched a new initiative to provide financial support to independent artists.

90ivy (formerly known as The Flowers) will join Good Intent’s management roster alongside actors like Bootleg Rascal, Close Counters and Down For Tomorrow.

The new contract comes a few days before the release of the group’s last single, “Now or Later”.

While admitting they were apprehensive about signing a management agreement at first, the group said they felt confident joining the list of good intentions, taking note of the team’s restlessness and ambition.

“We really took our time deciding which agency we would have the chance to go forward with,” 90ivy said in a group statement.

“In the end we were moved by Rob [Carroll] and Nick’s [Moran] passion, integrity and commitment in their quest to collaborate with us. These guys are hungry, ambitious and we have no doubts that they are going to score some serious goals.

News of the group’s signing comes with the launch of the Sydney agency’s Greater Good initiative, a program designed to help emerging artists by offering them a $ 2,000 cash grant and using the services for free. artists from Good Intent.

Artists will be able to access management consulting, DSP and radio services, PR, marketing and label services through the program, as well as asset creation through Good Intent’s sister company, Good Loco. .

Good Intent’s artist and label services manager Rick Bridgman explained that the agency felt compelled to give back to the Australian music community, describing the Greater Good initiative as a way to ‘pay’ artists for their experience. emerging.

“I’ve had the idea to do something like this for years, and now at Good Intent / Good Loco I feel like we’re in a strong position to give more back to our community,” said Bridgman.
