Lomotif celebrates World Music Day by presenting Russian artists with a unique chance to become a global music sensation through its talent search “Scouted by Lomo”
MOSCOW–(COMMERCIAL THREAD) – All it takes for the world to be mesmerized by the music is an air from an artist ready to burst onto the stage. It’s about being spotted and getting that big break to be successful and become a singing sensation overnight. Giving creators around the world this opportunity by making every effort to show their love for music, Lomotif celebrates the joyous occasion of World Music Day on June 21 by announcing their talent search / hunt based on the fans. “Scout by Lomo”. Adding to its grandeur and bringing together the world’s most promising artists under one roof, the the competition will start the first week of July and see Lomotif team up with Grammy-winning producer, singer and lyricist Teddy bear Riley. All eyes will be on the prize as the global winner, elected by Lomotif users, will receive an exclusive record label contract and production pledge.
The nine-week competition will see candidates upload their audition clip to the official Scouted by Lomotif channel on the Lomotif app. Ensuring that users keep an eye out for talent, the competition allows them to nominate promising artists by tagging them in the comments of their social media video with the hashtag #ScoutedbyLomo. A series of eminent mentors will be featured who will guide these budding singers through each stage of the competition. With users, their friends and their fans voting for them in the coming weeks, these participants will be able to collect more votes via the Super Like button available to Lomotif users. By performing a set of actions in the app, users can earn the Super Like button to showcase their favorite competitors with 10 likes (votes) instead of one.
