The Juans, Kaia and More to Headline ‘917 Day’ Music Festival
Several Filipino and international artists are set to perform at a music festival this month as part of a telecommunications company’s celebration of 917 Day.
The iconic 0917 is a known prefix for telephone company subscribers.
For the past few years, the telecommunications company has offered its customers rewards and surprises to celebrate “917 GDay” each September.
This year, the telecommunications company will host G Music Fest headlining 17 local and international artists set to entertain audiences live and online to mark 917 #ExtraGDay.
“The last two years have been incredibly difficult for everyone. Now that the world is slowly opening up and we can enjoy life together face to face, we are excited to once again offer all the uplifting and lighthearted experiences that our loyal customers may have missed and needed,” said Globe Marketing Head Pia Colby.
G Music Fest will be held at Globe Circuit Event Grounds, Ayala Malls Circuit, Makati City on September 17th.
Among the performers this year are:
- The Juans
- Phum Viphurit
- I belong to the zoo
- Lola Love
- Arthur Miguel
Organizers said there will be more surprise guests.
Contemporary artist-designer New will also grace the festival to showcase its larger-than-life art installations.
Festival-goers will also have the chance to own their first non-fungible token (NFT) thanks to Globe’s partnership with MetaverseGo!.
According to the telecommunications company, the two brands have joined forces to create Gudi, a unique NFT that can be redeemed
using Globe Rewards points.
Besides NFTs, customers can enjoy facilities such as Immersive Gaming (GGWP), Korean (Kmmunity Ph) and Anime (Sugoi Society) activities and
collections of derivative products. They can also use reward points to enjoy it.
There are also activity stalls and a chance to win vouchers for apps such as TikTok, Tinder, foodpanda, Kumu and many more.
Meanwhile, the public can purchase the festival pass during the presale period which started on September 2 and ends on September 9. They can redeem the passes using the 15 Globe Reward points through the Globe One app or get the pass for a special rate from P917 via Tickelo.
On the other hand, the regular sale period is from September 10 to 17. Subscribers can redeem festival passes using 30 reward points through the Globe One app or P1,500 through Tickelo.
