Twice’s ‘What is love?’ exceeds 500 million views on YouTube
Twice’s video clip for “What is love?” surpassed 500 million views on YouTube on Monday, girl group JYP Entertainment’s agency said on Tuesday.
This is the group’s third music video to exceed 500 million views after âTTâ (2016) and âLikeyâ (2017).
“What is love?” is the title song of the band’s fifth EP “What is Love?” Park Jin-young, the founder and co-CEO of JYP, wrote the melody and lyrics for the song which speaks of the curiosity of young girls who learn love only through songs, books or movies.
Twice has a total of 17 music videos that have surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, including her debut song “Like Ooh-ahh” (2015), “I Can’t Stop Me” (2020) and her Japanese songs ” Candy Pop â(2018),â TT – Japanese version âandâ Breakthrough â(2019).
The group is set to release the title track from their new EP, along with its music video, at 6 p.m. on June 9.
The new EP, âTaste of Love,â will be released at 1 pm on June 11.
The group is also due to release their 3rd Japanese album “Perfect World” on July 28th.
The title song has an accelerated beat and conveys the message that you need to face your fears without being carried away by the environment around you.
